Weird Vintage Untitled Document

Sir Joseph Paxton, gardener-turned-architect of the famous Crystal Palace, featured at the Hyde Park Great Exhibition of 1851, prided himself in growing huge Victoria Amazonica lily pads.  He claimed that they grew so big that a mature pad could hold up to 300 pounds, and exhibited his daughter standing upon it.  Rumor has it that he may have had a stool underneath the pad, however!
